Private label / contract manufacturing
A manufacturing model where a contract manufacturer produces a stock formula and packs it under each customer brand's own label ("private label" or "OEM" manufacturing). It's a normal, legal, and common way simple, commodity formulas reach the market, and one reason the exact same formula can appear under many different brand names -- though our data only show identical declared formulas, not who manufactured them.
